Everything you need to know about Six
Six's life and times
Six in her ninth life was born to a shorthair blue scottish fold and a blue american shorthair, though there are serious doubts as to whether he was really the real father, expecially considering the genetics involved in Six's colouring. Regardless he was never around at all. Her bother was a blue tabby shorthair fold, and she had several sisters, who she never really got very involved with. She often wondered why her ears never folded down when her siblings did until it was explained to her that in every litter of fold there was always one or two who didn't have folded ears.
Six's life was still troubled. She was born to show, but she never was able to. Despite having an okay somewhat happy household it was still hard for her as she felt as if she had absolutely no purpose in her life at all. It took her a long time to realize and figure out that she could express Cyle Quickstrike and keep the world safe while everyone else was sleeping.
Six's death wasn't much of a death. She was ganged up on and betrayed by the other cats in the cattary, and while her body was alive, her soul gave up and died. Her body went on to live for many years after, but it has finally died. Despite that, she is still stuck as a ghost, not able to obtain her tenth life because she is unable to let go of her earthly nith life.
After her soul died, she ended up on the spirit plane, lost and confused. She had no idea where she was or what was going on. The first soul she ran into was Rex. He showed her the ropes but she always knew he harbored a large amount of rage since he was murdered with an axe. He was unable to move on to his next life, his seventh, because of that rage.
Regardless, the two became close, and eventually became lovers. They had one litter of kittens, who were only able to be born because at that point in time Six's body was still alive. The three kittens ended up being sent, blindly, to the living world, grown and confused. They had little memories, of what had happened to them but the ones they did were memories of Six. Somehow, they knew the names she had given them, though they did rename themselves.
The birth of the kittens was a turning point in Six and Rex's relationship. Rex became obsessed and angry, wanting to connect with kittens who had no idea of his existance. Six could find where they were, somehow she just knew, and she could send Cyle out to find them as well, though she never told Rex any of it. Rex didn't even know about Cyle. Six began manifesting and experimenting with shapeshifting in order to get a break from Rex.
One of the times she was manifested in New York City, she ran into a tomcat on the streets named Dono. He was young, and they spent the night together, him showing her around. By morning she was gone back to the spirit plane. But she could not get that cat out of her head, and began to practice manifesting for longer periods of time.
Finally she was able to, and, as a human, manifested back in new york city as a waitress at a diner. She secured and apartment, and then went to look for Dono. She found him, and took him home as a pet. He wasn't aware that it was Six, he was only aware that he felt comfortable around her. Six then began working on weaving a bandanna out of her own ectoplasm to affix to Dono's neck. Once on there, it allowed him to shapeshift, and he too shifted into a human. The two of them got new jobs at a diner where the wait staff sing and dance, in order to get on broadway and settled into their happy, romantic life.
Meanwhile, Rex noted Six's abscence and and sought to find her. He eventually did, and noticing she had shacked up with Dono, he manifested as a human and got a job as a taxi driver, watching them. Eventually the rage was too much and he broke into their apartment one night, confronting Six and forcing her back to the spirit plane with him. That year that her and Dono had spent together had changed Six completely, and she no longer felt much towards Rex.
She put up with him still for a long time. Much longer than she should have. Whenever she could she would steal away to check on Dono. For a while he stayed in New York City, changing jobs to a DJ at a radio station, and then eventually he simply kept to being an animal, in the woods in Ohio that Six usually went to when she needed to escape. Regardless, she always knew where Dono was now that he had her ectoplasm around his neck. She could find him no matter where he was.
But eventually, in 2011 our time, she gave up on Rex. Slowly, the two of them grew apart. She pined after Dono, wanting nothing more to be with him. Rex wanted nothing morethan to kill Dono, but he knew that the act of doing so would only give Six the satisfaction of being with him. Dono had begged Six to kill him herself, so that they could be together, but Six refused. She wouldn't wish the endless nothingness on anyone.
Shortly after fully parting with Rex she began to be haunted by shadows following her. She tried hiding, but they always seemed to be there. She could not determine what they were. She began manifesting again, in many different forms, lots of them new, to try to get away. It was during one of these times that she met Sardonyx in his owl form. Since then, the two of them have had a cat-and-mouse game going on. Six is intrigued but she's never seen his true face. He always makes sure to stay similar colours so that she can recognize him, and despite the fact that they have never exchanged any words, Six now knows him no matter what he looks like. He even comes to her when she's drifting from one dream to another, but she has never seen him on the spirit plane though she knows he's not a strictly mortal thing. What she does not know, is that he cannot get onto the spirit plane in his entirety, only his shadow can. And his shadows have been the ones haunting her.
HOW IT CURRENTLY STANDS: Six is mourning the loss of Rex, but certain she is better off without him. She still pines for Dono but is thinking that she won't be able to be with him... ever. She is intrigued by Sardonyx but also scared. She doesn't know what to do and is feeling really lost. She wants a way to be able to manifest for longer periods of time, as she's never been able to manifest as long as she did for that year in the City, despite the fact that her body has recently died.

Six's Past Lives
Six doesn't remember much about her past lives except for her Ninth. That's pretty much how it always is, so it's not unusual. She remembers places and feelings much more than actual events. Each of her past lives corresponds with a certain part of my life, but I haven't pinned down dates specifically or anything like that. I also have all her lives designed but since they don't really affect the present so much I haven't thought to make a ref sheet at all.
Designing a Kernel Form
Okay so designing a kernel form is something that's quite important. It's important to remember that though she is a shapeshifter she cannot change her genetics, so her colours are always to be the same. She's always going to be blue and cream and odd-eyed. Look at the KC tidbits ref I made for help with her "alive" colours.
As far as design goes, I always try to use at least three of the colours for any said Kernel Form. Say the kernel form is all cream, I will try to find a way to use both creams, and then make her nose blue. If she's all blue I will try to find a way to use both blues and then add her off-white. The best is when all of her colours can be used. There is a darker colour (see greenbea's nose) that I use for the pads nails and skin of the forms that are blue. Sometimes her normal colours just will not work, such as with Mei Gui. Then I lighten or darken the closest colour. I try not to do this that often though. It's only if it's absolutely neccessary. And a note on the hex codes, if you see they are all perfect grey with no tinting of any colour. That's because she's greyscale, so try to keep the hex codes correct if it's necessary to change them.
For markings they can be anything. I try to make the left front leg different from the right front leg. I also try to somehow incorperate the heart on her tummy though it doesn't always end up looking like a heart. Otherwise just do whatever.
Her collar HAS to be that gradient. No exceptions, because it's part of her soul. The heart HAS to be there. Like with Greenbea's collar it can be part of the pattern, but it has to be there. And her collar doesn't have to look the same, if you notice Sherlock has a bandanna. But it needs to exist, it's part of her.
